Bowling opponents

Follow the money. The G5 teams need to attempt to stay close to home to draw a crowd. Plain and simple. Even with the A4, if it’s not one of the major bowls, it’s a tough draw cross country.

Bowls should have realized by now that they need teams with a closer presence to that bowl city so there is greater interest and attendance.

Yes 8:15 I think. But on a Saturday night. Cold be colder than the last Indy bowl.

All of Louisiana's home games were at 8pm in the 40's and 50's.

It gave farmers a chance to finish work and still have time to go have some fun.

I know it's too early to be thinking about what bowl we will be going to, but I was thinking about who our opponent will be. I saw a few weeks ago that we had the potential to match up against Mich. St. Now that would be fun, but I think it would be more interesting if our opponent would be either TSAB or Florida.

Either of those opponents would cause RP to blow up. No way would TSAB allow this to happen. They would probably decline to play in the bowl. But a Des/Napier match up would be crazy.

Thoughts?
