That used to be QB2, but he has had 2 injuries, foot and knee, the past 2 seasons so not sure what he can do and I haven't seen any practices or scrimmages.

I dont recall anyone posting on this site that said they had Insider information and that it was the other guy that would be named the starter. Please provide that post in case I missed it.

Well….

Two people I know very well are at every practice and they said CF is the clear number one choice. One of the guys he is a Ben fan. But we will see what Des does.

Recent history, and pretty much past 15-20 years with the exception of the Levi years, shows Fields will still need to be ready to take the field for some significant snaps, even starting a couple games. I hope both QBs are able to make the most of their opportunities this season.

BW didn’t come back from injury until fall camp, so why if neck and neck AND if it were a true competition, then why go that route when CF was QB1 through spring and summer prior to fall?
