I was on the Bobby Champagne train years ago, unfortunately, I think his time has come and gone as a HC.

Cast the net far and wide! If someone with local ties makes it that's fine, if not its still fine. If some P$ takes our MBB coach after three to four years he's likely made and advanced in the NCAA tourney a couple of times. Look at the coaching carousel this year, dozens of schools in an attempt to move on from mediocrity made a HC change. Read where CBM has 3 years left on contract but regardless, this season should be ultimatum to win the conference regular season or tournament or adios. Besides some folks are more successful with their backs to the wall. Most of us in our careers had a boss at some point in our younger days that knew how to press our buttons to get higher performance. Dr. Maggard needs to turn up the pressure on CBM to produce or perish. Coaches understand that. Anyone that has worked in their life or has been a boss knows that if you permit mediocrity to creep into your workplace you are guaranteed to get more of the same. IDK, everyone seems too comfortable. As a fan its irritating, but when you think of it as a taxpayer this is unacceptable all the way around.

Looks like Marlin is in the 120 - 125 range for salary.

I should have clarified that this was out of the college coaching salaries in the country.
