I remember Brian Mitchell pitching a fit his freshmen year. These are kids. They come in with big heads after being The star in high school and it takes a little time to learn their role at times.

_ ....is the most unbearable thing to watch!! He is the absolute worst ball handler in traffic i've ever seen and makes horrible decisions every single time he has the ball. And when he doesn't have the ball (which is not very often because he is a ball hog) he is constantly whining and hanging his head. I don't recall ever being more frustrated watching any Cajun basketball player in my life. He needs to go. I hope you are reading this Robert Lee, I doubt it, but if you are.... you need to go too my friend. Your game-planning in the last 10 minutes of any game that we are leading is ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. All of a sudden we stop being aggressive and start holding the ball... and then miss shots with less than ten on the shot clock, all the while allowing the opposing team to come back every time... this has happened at least 3 times this season.... IN THE CAJUNDOME NONETHELESS!!! At home the last thing you should be doing is being conservative! Stay aggressive! I cannot wait until we get a real coach in here. Danny Broussard from STM would do a better job than Lee. I don't even think Robert Lee could win a State Championship with the most talented high school team in any state.

Ok, rant over... sorry but that was one of the most frustrating games I have watched in recent memory.

I disagree completely. He is the best pure PG we have and his Assist/TO ratio is better than Lago and Daigle. He can free up shooters with his penetration and is the best passer on the team. He can also hit from outside and often creates open shots around the basket. Maybe you saw him play poorly but he has been better than what you say.

Because we all know our athletic leadersip will look for any possible way to retain our coaches and that would do it. Let's put an end to this season as soon as possible and to this coach as well. _

Everyone makes the conference tournament. Top three seeds get a bye into the quarterfinals in Little Rock. Other ten teams play five games to determine the other five participants in Little Rock. Those five games are played on campus sites with the higher seeds hosting. Seeds are determined by your regular season conference records. Top three seeds are the two division winners and the second place team with the best record.

I don't remember you "leading" those 20 win teams. Then again I wasn't there and no one is around to refute your statement so... lead away!

2002, ( 20 wins ) Starting PG, led team in assists, and we went to conf. championship, and also a NIT BID...

2003, ( 20 wins ) Leading scorer on the team ( 16.8 PPG ), beat the 12th ranked Miss. State team on the road, Won the West in the SBC, and also a NIT BID...

2004, ( 20 wins ) Lead the team in assists, and second leading score ( 11.9 PPG ), CONF. CHAMPS, NCAA BID, ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM...

Ask any one of my team mates or former coaches about how bad I love to win, and how bad those teams wanted to win...

We all appreciate your efforts and accomplishments during your career. We understand how competitive you and your teammates were. We hope those days return soon. I know you were a key cog during the success of the early part of this decade but I will never forgot the time you tried to dunk against WKU in 2003 and missed it. You lay that ball up off the glass and our momentum is not broken and we likely win that game. We win that game and we are the No. 1 seed in the tourney and don't get beat by Denver. We then go to the NCAA rather than the NIT. If we have to go to the NIT we are at home rather than having to play at UAB. Of course you had lots of good plays in that game and one play does not necessarily determine the outcome. One of those good efforts was a four point play. WKU hit some big shots late and I always give credit to the opposition. Too bad we won't have a key game like that from this season to reminiscence about in a few years. That is fun to do regardless if it is a win or loss. You can't have a key memory without an important game. You have to win some early to have the late ones have some importance and that is unlikely this year.

GOOD TRY!!! But that dunk miss was in the first half with like 11 minutes to play, and if you watch the tape, i have it if you want a copy, we stole the ball right back on that possesion... Yea WKU is always well coached and they always hit big shots... YOu correct on the point about the winning of games...

I did remember the dunk attempt was in the first half but did not recall we stole the ball back after the miss. I also don't recall if we scored after we stole the ball back. Did we? Like I, you will remember that play for a long time. What other plays from your career are memorable?

Maybe he is talking about his glory days, because those teams were worth a crap. Those guys played with heart and passion. When they played a top 25 team, you thought they might actually have a chance to win. Not like now, where we lose by 30 to a conference usa team. I wish there were more (former players) who would voice there displeasure about the way things are going right now. About the coach lee stuff, that has been brought up in the past. Anyone ever step back and think he maybe right, with the way things are going?
