This will be a very beautiful facility. Catholic worship is strong at Louisiana.
Too nice for words
The latest renderings are much improved over the initial images that were used as part of the kickoff fundraiser. I really like the way it has evolved. Gonna be a tight fit, though.
I was at the noon Mass and they displayed renderings after...also had coffee/hot chocolate available. Today was the start of the spring semester. I was very impressed by the number of students at noon Mass on their first day back.

I went to an unveiling of the plans and the inside is very nice also. The plans are to base the church off of styles seen in France where the Acadians originated from. In addition the adjacent Newman center for students will have an A. Hays Town style of whom the architects from D.C. hold in high high esteem. The architects came to town for this presentation and rode around amazed at the homes/buildings designed by A. Hays Town. Ill attach link to the architectural firm and a church at Nebraska which is similar in style I am told.
