Has Josh Stevens transferred anywhere? I talked to his mother last year at a funeral right before the season and she said he didn’t think Johnson was going to play him and he wasn’t very happy.

Wow I have to agree with you because we took that approach with our coach. How's that working out for us?

"Good enough" isn't the issue for me, "room enough" is.

There isn't. Louisiana needs to make room and rescue kids from the talent graveyards.

And UL offers those kids. We have scholarship players on the team from
St. Martinville, Cecilia, Lafayette, Carencro, New Iberia, Erath, etc.

Just watching the kid in warm ups, he can't even hit receivers.

CHSNI has 286 students per LHSAA 24-26 classification numbers.

NISH, Westgate, Loreauville, Delcambre, Jeanerette, and Highland combined is probably ten times that. Catholic alone isn’t a draw to begin with.

That's not even close to what I'm saying. Please read and come back.

People said the same thing about Zeon right up until he showed up on the field vs. UAB.

I'm not some "insider" like a bunch of you on here, and I don't attend practices, but something tells me we should give the kid at least one more Spring before we start making him out to be Deion Ray.

Did River Ranch Prep win 3 out of the last 4 State Championships? If so, it may be worth taking a serious look at little Jimmy.

In hindsight you are right. However, Jamie was the much higher ranked player and was higher profile than Jake. And the real question would have been for Jake. At that time, had he had the same profile and ranking and would have been offered by LSU, would he have taken that route??

I'm not familiar with the Josh Stevens kid. Are you talking about Josh Stephenson who plays baseball at LSU?
