One can earn the right to get a parking pass for a donation of 100 dollars. One could split that into 4 quarterly payments of 25 dollars. If one doesn’t see that as affordable one should be ok with a short walk across the street. If one doesn’t go to a game because of parking at Cajun field one is really not a fan. UL has the closest free parking you will find anywhere in the FBS.

For the last few years I’ve actually tailgated at my house, then ride my drunk ass on my bike, with drink in hand, to Cajun Field just in time for the National Anthem.

Well I’m not complaining, but more than one isn’t happy with that protocol. Cheap or half _____ fans they still get to vote with their dollars. But UL doesn’t really need half _____ fans because they have fully vested fans coming out their _____.

UL doesn’t have half @$$ fans or fully vested fans coming out the wazoo. That has nothing to do with parking. UL has a much better parking situation than any other sunbelt school for the casual fan that doesn’t want to pay. Let’s suppose they did open up some area inside the gates of Cajun field for a fee of 15 to 20 bucks. Then they would b!+(h and moan about having to pay and not show up.

If fans are walking past empty parking spots to get in the stadium there will be parking comments.

That’s on the RCAF website. I don’t think there ever was a big push for 100 dollar donors. They obviously want more than the minimum. The 100 dollar level is for those folks that basically join for the parking. Not exactly what you hire staff to go out and sell unless you want to starve. Yes. 100 is better than nothing but won’t pay the bills in the long run.

But you are correct needs to be a bigger push in general for RCAF membership. Let’s fill up the parking lot with RCAF members of all levels.

Exactly !! What happens I’ve been saying you have to bring the fans inside Cajun Field! Give them a spot and they will come , average fan is not going to hand over 1,000 dollars, but if they come to the game and there is a spot for commoners and stuff they will come.
