It will be interesting to see this team at full strength and I think it's great that they will all have played with each other before the LSU game...It would be sweet to go into LSU with fully loaded team and come out with win!

Roberson was a McDonalds All-American coming out of high school, give him some time to work off the rust. In my opinion, there is no such thing as too much talent. I don't think any top 10 program is concerned about having "too much talent." The one thing we will have is the flexibility to match up with any line-up in the Sun Belt. If the Cajuns go small against teams like Troy, you can toss out Daigle,McCoy, Bureau, Gradnigo and Roberson. Who do you guard against the lineup? All of them are capable of scoring and creating their own shot.
There is only 1 ball and we have several players who would like to score: Roberson, Gradnigo, Bureau, Daigle, and Gary.
Also as many as 14 players trying to get on the court that can only take 5 at a time. Dison going down will be 1 less and maybe Wallace can still get a medical redshirt.
If Robeson can really play the point I don't think Lago will see much playing time esp. when Daigle returns.
Most teams would like a 9-10 man rotation. Even the teams like Duke, North Carolina, and the other great teams don't play 14 guys.
Coach Lee needs to find a starting line-up and identify some roles. JMO.
With the depth this team has we should play 40 minutes of hell (run and gun and really tough defense). Other teams would have a tough time keeping up. We have the athletes to do this and we have pretty good 3 point shooters when Daigle returns with Daigle, Grandnigo, Roberson, and Bureau. This can also help as we will not get into as many halfcourt offensive sets which is where we struggle.
Some of the kids you mentioned were getting minutes out of necessity because of injuries. You really don't need to worry about a 10 man rotation until you get past the half way point in conference. Most top programs are playing 10-12 right now. Check the box scores on line. Some of your questions will be worked out during the season. That will be Coach Lee's challenge, find the right roles and balance in minutes for the top 10-12.
I really don't care who gets the minutes or not. As long as we are getting W's, let them work it out on the court.
I agree CajunT it is all about the W's!
Roberson was not a McDonald's All-American out of high school in 2005. As a top 50 recruit, he was likely a finalist but was not selected to play in the game.
No worries, BJ. I know you get excited when you talk Cajun hoops.
I think Roberson will be one of the front-runners for conference newcomer of the year, especially if the Cajuns win the West. He's a special player who will make a huge difference as he gets in better game shape.
