You would be surprised at what head coaches say about their assistants, what assistants say about their head coach, what players say about their coaches, and what coaches say about their players. Nothing is a secret anymore ,EVERYTHING leaks out. You should hear what parents say, that in itself is a different level.

I didn't give details of the whole conversation. They did state it was ridiculous, the other stuff that was discussed isnt anyone business.

I don’t think it’s a big deal either way… But by sharing that part of the private conversation, you’re letting everyone know that there is dissension among the ranks.
That’s something they should handle “in-house”.
Again, (a player coaching first base) not a huge thing… But why let anyone outside of the clubhouse know that there is “any” disagreement on “anything/anytime/anywhere”?
That’s what fans are for.

I don't think the intent of confidentiality was to spread descent between coaches and players.

Probably best to keep private "conversations" private.

In other words it is the conversation that is supposed to stay private not the two persons involved.
