Well-played game. That home run robbery did come back to bite us. Had a feeling it would.

Bullpen faltered, but I can understand what Deggs and Thib were thinking. I guess.

No fielding errors. Only a couple of walks. We hit just fine against their front line guys. Just got robbed of 2 big time hits. One of which would have been a difference maker.

It was a regional game for sure. Matched up well. Props to UT.

Well giving up just 4 runs to that team is a huge win.

Having them take away 4 from us with great defensive plays gives you the result we got.

Before the game the stats said we needed 5 to win . . . 5 would have won it . . . A couple were stolen by Texas . . . But in the end, we did not get 5 . . .

We still have another bullet and hopefully the baseball gods are better to us when we are called upon tomorrow morning and then after that . . . Go Cajuns, win again

I really hope Nez comes back next year he has developed into Friday night guy with his offspeed pitches and command. He and fluno with theut could be a lethal weekend rotation next year.
