They have used facilities as an excuse to keep an unwanted out, but you are right, they haven't rewarded having a state of the art ball park.

Both being top 20 RPI not sure . We played both and lost to both. Don't believe it is a big change for us come seeding time.

I think that what it does is make Baylor a national seed and host if the season were to end today. They had an RPI ranking of 17 entering today. Maybe they are Top 16 RPI after today's win ... maybe not. If not, they are taking a hosting spot from someone in the RPI Top 16. The sweep vs. Texas was impressive ... they are the only team to defeat Oklahoma ... and are 8-8 vs. the RPI Top 25. They also have a couple of road wins vs. Tennessee.

I hope they host. They were projected to be the #2 seed in the Lafayette regional. I think Monday or Tuesday Eric will post his new prprojections.

#6 LSU is in play for the Cajuns … and the separation between #9 and #7 is about the same as #9 and #10/#11.

Also, due to shuffling in the RPI rankings (Texas A&M), the Cajuns are now 2-9 vs. the RPI Top 25 and 12-2 vs. the RPI 26->50. Indiana is #32, Ole Miss #34, UCF #41, Texas State #39, South Alabama #40.

Not Brian, but the only questionable number we have is our opponents SOS (38). That and only 2 top 25 wins.

I think the committee wants a G5 as a #16 seed host to feed to Oklahoma, so that they have the easiest path to the WCWS. I would love to be the #16 seed and win and have someone else win the Norman regional so that the Supers would be in Lafayette.
