thanks for clarifying, and your post analysis. If post was about players transferring out because of him leaving, could imply to follow him? then maybe? otherwise why couldnt they stay with or without him?

He was the Louisiana connection to get players up there. Many players sign because of a coach, not the program. When that coach leaves, they start looking elsewhere. Happened to an athlete I know, coach who recruited him left before he made it to campus. He was basically alone at the campus and didn't last long before transferring.

true, good point… but until they know for sure where he is going, or what is even happening, seems as a player id wait at least a few days. Vice ending up somewhere completely new still with no connection. im sure the least of the new generations worries, but If you transfer a week before finals do you lose all your credits?

No, when they transfer, they finish the semester. We have players that have entered to portal already during the season but still on campus until semester is finished.

Just an FYI for those who are curious. Last day of classes is today. Finals start on Monday. Graduations are the 16th and 17th.

No, when they transfer, they finish the semester. We have players that have entered to portal already during the season but still on campus until semester is finished.

I realize they should be able to, but can you guarantee all do?

Don’t have a source, but all retain whatever they have prior to entering. It doesn’t transfer into the next semester.
