    Baily-TCU
    Lacey-LSU
    Garner-LSU
    Johnson-UF
    Torrance-UF
    Waites-UF

*According to these schools Depth charts only Johnson, Garner and Torrance are projected starters, rest are second or third string. So, the question is was it smart for them to transfer and sit? NIL aside. At UL most if not all would be starters. Can't make it to NFL if you don't play.
I mean there are others like McCaskill to Kansas and Brown to a FCS school I believe, Ratcliff to Texas State come top of mind.

From what I understand Lacey was not the best person to have in the locker room and not a whole lot effort was made to keep him here….

I was thinking about this the other day, too. Wondering who you would see playing and how well would they play? Especially Lacy, for some reason. I didn't understand that transfer, but I guess it's not for anyone outside of the athlete and their circle to understand.

    Thanks for looking into it.
Couldn't agree more, this is has to play out over time. At most, one of Johnson or Bailey would have been named 'starter', and potentially neither, so the term starter can be a bit misleading anyway.

J'accuse. The NCAA states that this is illegal!

It may be illegal as stated but I doubt it has been documented in that fashion. A little poetic license in many instances changes the whole picture . . .

I saw on one website (I don't recall which one) that Torrance was selected preseason 1st team all-SEC, without yet having played a down! He will certainly be missed.

Yeah, this talk of Bailey being the most missed is comical. Torrance is without question the biggest hole to fill.

Correct but the NCAA also stated that they won't look at anything that happened back then even if they are violations.
