Actually he was speaking to the plate umpire about something the UT-A pitcher was doing illegally.

I’m not negating that, but he most definitely went and talked to Stormy as well. Being as neither of us were in earshot, it’s a safe bet it had to do with the pitching he noticed. Regardless, it was neat to witness.

Also, IMO, starting at Stormy at first and sitting Taylor for a bit was a very good move. I am a huge Taylor Roman fan but she has not found her groove yet. This team is getting better as they get experience.

I think the starting infield that you saw yesterday will stay intact as long as they produce and don't get hurt. Alexa and Taylor may be on the bench. It will get interesting. Alexa could also go back to SS and Mayeau DP. Mayeau and Stormy bats are red hot so they will play.
