The game got long after the first qtr. At the game the 1st media timeout did not occur till almost the end of the 1st qtr. I will have to re-watch on the dvr to see if the same occurred.

With the replay benefit you can easily see the fair catch signal on one angle. I didn't see it live & the replay they showed at the dome didn't show the guy throwing his hand up. So I'm going to say it could have been easy for Wilson to miss the signal. That play did turn the momentum of the game into UL's favor though.

He lied because he is, a competitor and wanted to play NOW! (even though that was then)

I called his bluff 5-years ago. It was so obvious what he was trying to do at the time.

He was using his early departure as leverage for Hud not to redshirt him.

Except you are calling him a liar, maybe he thought at the time he would graduate in 3 years or that was his goal. Maybe that wasn’t realistic, or maybe he thought he could only hold huds rope for 3 years and the Napier came along. Just don’t think it’s really fair to call a young man a liar just because he set really high academic goals for himself. He had no idea Napier was in the way, and no idea how hard it is for an athlete to graduate in 3 years and certainly had no idea a plandemic Would award him an extra year

There was zero chance he was leaving in 3-years. I said the reason. then, I'll say it now.

There was no way a person that wanted to see the field as bad as he did was going to shut it down cold turkey in 3-years.
