I’d jus say this. The question is if we were playing for the conference championship this week could you go. If the answer is yes and you’re not playing.... Then the answer is you can go.

Once again, that is your opinion.

My opinion is that the conference championship was the most important game. After that, conference games, in general, are more important because they get you to the championship game. Bowl games are 3rd on the list, unless we are playing another conference champion or P5 opponent.

We had a few conference games that players sat out that they would’ve played if it had been the championship game. No one was complaining then.

For a guy like Humphrey, dominating a bowl game is much more important to his draft stock than any pro day he will have. Guys like that make the NFL based on their college game film, not on how fast they run the 40. Facts

He was a 5-6 rd guy Dec 4th if he had 5 sacks Saturday night he would still be a 5-6 rd guy.. unless NFL teams say "well we have 40 games to watch film own but we only care about the game vs the 4th place cusa team "

He could be 5th, or 6th. Or he could be a free agent struggling to make a team. You have no idea. His measurables are a dime a dozen in NFL terms. There are at least 75 guys going into next year's draft with similar, or even favorable measurables to his. It's his play on the field that will set him apart. You can homer me all you want. I know what I'm talking about. And the more of that play is visible on a consistent basis especially against a guy like the center from Marshall, the better. Do not forget, not a single UL defensive player was 1st team all conference.

So your saying it all comes down to this bowl game for him to get drafted? Why even have a combine the nfl scouts should just base everything off bowl games.

There are literally less than 3 NT with his size and one is Jordan Davis who is a top 10 pick.
