Is it excuses though? 12-1 nationally ranked team playing a 5 loss CUSA third place team. Nola has become a hell hole. Restrictions. Crime through the roof. A week before Christmas. Accommodations are expensive. No festivities for the fans, outside of the Toups thing. Lots of people recovering from the economic shutdown. And, we just hosted some historic moments at CajunField. Then lost our coach. There’s a palpable hangover feeling.

That's stupid, just going to make less folks stay over night. But, they are thinking because of the late game time, we got'em where we want'em.

The Sheraton team hotel is still available at $147.

Well over $200 after fees and taxes. That’s where we booked.

We are staying at the Blake Hotel. $127 after fees. There are several hotels on the NOB website with discounted rates still available.

A group of us wanted to sit together. The ticket guy in our group assumed we were going to be the home team and got our tickets on Section 140. There may be more UL fans in Section 140 than you think. I guess we could wear Christmas sweaters with green and red and fit in on either side.
