There are game heroes and there are persona who become a hero to the institution based upon what the bring to the institution on a day to day basis. For coaches, a hero may bring as much to the institution off the field than on the field.

Do we want to be a good sunbelt program or one of the top G5 programs in the country every year? If the money was there to give Napier 2 mil and possibly more to stay, then money shouldn’t be what stops us from making the giant splash.

Well, good morning. There was a lot to catch up on, here.

The only things I'll point out this morning:

1. No one has been hired as of yet. And, I don't know that all the interviews have been conducted.

2. I'll remind you this is a very different coaching search from any we've ever conducted in the past. Most of you are commenting like you have forgotten that. (Not all of you,, but some).

3. Just because Mike checks all of Dr. Maggard's boxes only means he is qualified for the job in Dr. Maggard's eyes. That DOESN'T mean other candidates don't check those boxes as well.

The process of finding a new coach continues.....
