We had a shot to win this game. Yeah, Nunez wasn’t good but the kid works hard and he helped get us here. The play calling left a lot to be desired. But, we were in this thing. App state just played better. They always have. You have to bear perfect to beat a 9-2 team on their turf in the rain.

Nunez got crushed right after the 2nd INT. Doesn't excuse a bad decision though, but for sure had a guy coming right at him.

Nunez does not and has not shown poise under pressure.

We are two athletic LBs and a consistent QB away from being SBC champions.

A lot of guys played very well. App St. was going to make plays on offense. In big games your QB has to be up to the task. He wasn’t. Nunez is never clutch in big games.
