Look, I’m glad he got drafted and hope he has a long, productive career, but let’s not romanticize. This guy did nothing for our program.

Don’t disagree with any of this. It is still great for him and our program. He was tabled many years ago as our best recruit and I guess he has the measureables NFL teams crave. It is the Browns though.

Man, I thought I saw some range in his game last year. He was dependable in stopping the run on the edge too.

I would take an Auriene over a Thomas any day of the week but I don't think the kid played like complete garbage.

NFL.....is a place where your educamacation isnt all that important to get playing time. Can you play de game and play nice in the sand box with all the other edumacated dudes.

I am not sure of the exact number, but how many of UL’s drafted players are from Louisiana over the past 10-15 years? (Is McGuire the only one?) Seems like most of our good players come from out of state.

Unbelievable. Great news for Thomas!!' Has half a DB group ever been drafted from such a horrible defense? I honestly can't remember him making that many plays, but maybe our front seven was that incompetent.
This is great news for Napier and staff. A path to the NFL is what a lot of these kids are looking for. This should help recruiting.

As you know, sixth round players are drafted on potential and measurables. Thomas made many big plays. He's very long limbed. He's easily turned around and makes poor decisions. Things that can be improved. He's always had the physical tools.

I've always been a big supporter. Remember due to injury and NCAA issues he's rarely been properly coached for a season
