Thread: 2019 Football Signing Class

  1. #1

    Default Class of 2019

Is it too early to talk about? Whats the local area / state looking like for potential D1 talent next year? Any names on our early wish list?

Northside has a big DE but I can't remember his name.

Archangel is a DB from comeaux who is rated a 3 star. In my opinion he is overrated.

Another kid who I like a lot is Mike Hollins. RB from U High.

U High and Southern Lab are loaded with talent.

Broussard is the kid at Northside. STM has several legitimate prospects.

According to national recruiting experts, Louisiana has one of the deepest classes for talent in the country.

As for Louisiana alone, it's supposed to be one of the best and deepest in years. A lot of familiar names like Ryan Clark's son along with Derrick Stingley's son. I'm getting old, I watched most of these kids dads play football.

Caleb Holstein 2020 QB from STM already has a Tech offer.

Louisiana does have the deepest talent pool in the country. Per capita.

Larger population states have bigger totals but you have to spread yourself thin trying to find the talent.

In Louisiana there is talent -literally- everywhere you look.

A 2021 kid to keep an eye on is Dillon Monette. He plays QB at Comeaux and started as a freshman.

Saw clarks son in a playoff game in BR against one of the local schools in Lafayette. He was a great cover guy but appeared a little under sized. How is he rated according to the gurus?
