The camera also distorts the workers too. the walk is about 5 feet wide. It is not the main access to the third base entrance. that happens outside of the camera view and it can't be seen very well in the other camera view.

the job site fences are down too.

Five feet is what I would want. Room for a scooter and pedestrian traffic.

Looks like there were several precast concrete accent pieces that got damaged.

I assume they will do a little to a lot of pressure washing. The entrance on the third base side has no concrete pored. If grass is put in with no approach to the entrance, the grass will not last long. I still think they will form up and concrete that whole area. The way they work it will take about two days.

One shot that looks like the Stadium is completed:

Laying turf by the ticket booth:

Third base entrance. I am assuming that the old parking lot will remain. Could be overlaid with blacktop.

No lamp post lighting around the stadium as in the rendering? Definitely needs some more lighting.

One of the things that always kind of bugged me was that with the athletic corridor being so far from campus, you don't get the feel of being on a college campus.

The red brick, white stone and arches at Russo Park tie it into UL's campus. If the new stadium was built in the middle of campus, it would look completely at home. I'm pretty happy about this project and some of the future plans to bring some more cohesiveness.

Yep, I agree. I might also add that the roof of the Tigue matches the APC/endzone, and helps tie it all together. Once the Cox is gone and the square is finished it will be really nice.

I really wanted the IPF to have a Sports Passionate RED roof (didn't get it) I got my wish with the world class look of Lady Cajuns Park but not with the APC. I had high hopes (pun) for baseball especially since Lourdes Park looked so good. Instead they were stuck with the bland president of the APC.

That one thing aside, I love how the architecture style would fit perfectly in the Quad on campus.

To really tie it into campus would be when the Cox building is demolished, build a quad with a smaller version of the FDL fountain.
