Late to the party but CONGRATS CAJUNS! What a great season! Screw Coastal for dodging the Cajuns the second time.

"Enough to overturn the...." Ugggh... Bowls are rewards for refs and auditions for bigger games in the future. They should be perfect or close to.

And how was if lacy's td dance.so.bad it ok.for their coach to go all the way into the end zone to celebrate with a player. Not only the east to west distance into the field.but a good 20 yards north to.south

Duplicate trophies. Probably mail it here like the old SLC

Seems the trophy should be located with the team that won their bowl game!

  8. UL Football UL's bowl win was fittingly almost mirror image to many of their hard-fought wins all season

Perhaps it was only fitting the UL Ragin' Cajuns won the way they did Saturday in the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl in Dallas.

While it's been a season of triumph in so many ways for coach Billy Napier's club, so many of the victories that had the Cajuns ranked No. 16 in the AP poll coming into this weekend have come through countless struggles.

  9. UL Football Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns win another nail-biter, beating UTSA 31-24 at First Responder Bowl

Trey Ragas used a 1-yard touchdown with 7:16 remaining to snap a tie as No. 17 UL avoided a UTSA comeback bid and won 31-24 on Saturday in the First Responder Bowl at SMU's Gerald R. Ford Stadium in Dallas.

The Ragin' Cajuns brought extra pressure to force the Roadrunners to turn the ball over on downs after an incomplete pass on fourth-and-7 with 4:37 left, then ran out the clock.

    I wouldn’t call it a nail
Biter. We were pretty dominate except for the 3rd quarter gaf. Never had a doubt.

They were on a slippery slope that was halted at tied up. But you are right, "nail biter" is usually reserved for the final final moments.

ps I still have my thumbnails.

A lot of negativity lately from all outlets.... No mention of the record setting win total?

  13. UL Football Cajuns cap off historic season with hard-fought win over Roadrunners

After beginning the 2020 campaign with a top 25 win over Iowa State on the road, the No. 19 Ragin’ Cajuns put an exclamation point on a historic season with a 31-24 victory over UTSA to win the SERVPRO First Responder Bowl.

“A lot of good things today, and certainly a great way to cap off kinda the final chapter here of 2020,” Louisiana head coach Billy Napier says.

You can tell, Foote was at the game.
