Not a business owner anymore, but the wife works at Country Place Veterinary Clinic in St. Martinville with one of our daughters that is one of the vets there. Got a sick pet? Definitely go there if you live in the area. They do great work.

I'm a grill watcher ... Or ready to be one. Plan on grilling a bunch of veggies once the garden plots roll in.

I went by a shop to buy a couple of tubes for my kids' bikes a couple of weeks ago. He had very little new inventory and his floor-room was full of bikes to repair. A windfall for them for sure.

in my area real estate is still very active but we were in one of he hottest real estate markets in the region, I am seeing more refinanceing and very little new construction since the offices are closed, but I expect it to pick back up soon since the county offices are starting to open back up

Big selection? I shopped at l Guidry’s on Jefferson almost exclusively until they sold to Ace. I drive all the way from midtown to Stine’s now but I’ve noticed a drop in customer service. Always looking for a new local shop to patronize.
