    Default 9-19 softball doubleheader scrimmage

The good, bad and ugly from what I saw.

Good- Hr by Rawls, Gortarez, O'Neil, Curry and Piskos...Dalton, Rawls, Gortarez, Piskos and Mayeaux hit the ball very well. Talley played very agressive. For the most part Summer was well Summer.

Bad- We don't have that go to #2 pitcher yet. Lamb, Snow, Dixon, and Foreman all looked very good and very bad. Very inconsistent, but Lamb pitched better the second time around.

Ugly-All of the catchers struggle to throw out base runners. During first game mid way thru Coach Glasco called time out and brought all players and staff to center field and chew some butt for being timid and non aggressive on the bases when the ball was in place.

Most impressive freshman-Sophie Piskos, she had 3 hits in the first game including a bomb off Summer. She was outstanding behind the plate. She is the most ready D1 freshman we have. She should have a good career here.

On a side note Carrie Boswell has slimmed down and she is in excellent shape.
