Thread: Jordan Brown

    UL Basketball Jordan Brown

    Came off the bench, played 20 minutes. 5-7 FG 11points 5rebs 2blks 1ast.

He played 31 minutes a game last year for us.

I wonder what would have been the minimum amount it would have taken to keep him here.

Prob would have never come out the game here and averaged 20 and 10 easy.

Maybe they taken it slow to ease him in the starting lineup.

10,000 plus fans at their home opener.

Sadly says a lot about SBC talent/perception. Dominant big man now coming off the bench.

Supposedly Memphis paid Duren and emoni bates each 2 million each. Top 5 prospects. Last year Kendrick Davis supposedly got 300k

Most "jobs" people want more pay for less work.
So with NIL in mind, wouldn't decreasing minutes be a way to increase the rate of pay?

We weren't even in the ballpark of his number

But maybe we could have taught him how to fish, or he should have seen we taught his dad how to fish

Play 40 minutes a game in front of 900 people, against Albany Tire Retread School...

Or come off the bench in Memphis, play 20 minutes in front of a raucous 10k arena on ESPN, against teams like Michigan/Clemson/Virginia...

Hmmmm which one of those sounds better....

He tested the waters of his NBA draft stock after what would probably be his best collegiate season, and his prospects weren't great...

So knowing that the NBA is likely not going to happen... where would you rather play college ball -- $100k or not?

Why should we care? He can tell his pop hello. Don't care beyond that

Lol if y'all think Penny is actually gonna honor what he says. Dudes a POS and if their 7th year senior would have gotten a NCAA exemption Jordon wouldn't even see the court other than the end of the bench

I don't think his NBA lot in life was locked in after testing the waters last year.

It might be if he doesn’t see more playing time.
