Louisiana Hot Sauce Promo

Louisiana Hot Sauce "sponsors" the games and as a result gets to do some advertising ... the kids like the "bottle", the University likes the money, and we should like the combo.

Do you really think a commercial "figure" is replacing a school's "mascot"?

They did make an announcement during the ULM game that the game was being sponsored by Louisiana Hot Sauce. That does not intefere with any Tabasco deal or sponsorship ... in fact I would hope it would increase the chances of that becoming a larger part of UL athletic sponsorships.

No I didn't think it was gonna be the new mascot but I was just making sure. Found it kind of odd that we had a hot sauce bottle at our game but no cayenne.

What's the deal with it? I saw it at the basketball game last night and it actually made me miss Cayenne (who wasn't there). I hope this isn't our new mascot or anything. Anyone know why we had a bottle of hot sauce as our mascot last night?

As far as Cayenne, sad but dont expect to see him at many, if any, of the basketball games this year. I also miss The Cajun Chicken.

If you have the right to complain about what the athletic department and University does, then I have the right to complain about the complainers.

When I heard of the UL deal with the company, I replaced my Tabasco bottle on my table with a Louisiana Hot Sauce bottle and never looked back.
