Boyfriend a suspect in Breaux Bridge woman's disappearance
"She's all I have. My daddy don't know where his child is. I don't know where my sister is."
Aisha John last saw her sister, 30-year-old Casey John, with her boyfriend Saturday afternoon at their father's house.
"I was the last person to see my sister with him Saturday at two. My grandmother went to get my sister at four to put my daddy to bed. So something happened between two and four."
Police tell us Casey's boyfriend is a suspect in her disappearance and has been brought in for questioning more than once.
"He can't tell me where she went. He said she left about an hour after I dropped her food. He can't tell me with who, he can't tell me where she went."
Casey's family says she does have a history of mental illness as she's been diagnosed with schizophrenia, but her sister says she is on medication and is stable. The family is suspicious because they say Casey left home without her purse, medication and shoes, something she's never done before.
"My sister would never go without calling me, my grandmother, somebody in the family. she would never do this because she knows we worry. My sister didn't leave willingly."
