For years, hard-working players on good teams have been denied the chance to play for a title. OK St. this year, TCU last year, Boise State in 2009, etc. Yet none of this made any impact on changes to the BCS system.

Come this year, the Orange Bowl and Championship game both set records for lowest TV viewers ever for BCS bowl games. Low ratings mean less money, less money means "We need to change the system ASAP".
