ragincajuns.com has us playing at Houston on 9/9 and an open date on 10/7, Houston released their schedule after us and has us playing there on 10/7. Which is it? anyone?

Looks like a schedule change already, which doesn't suprise me. I expect a few more once TV deals are finalized.

Now it looks like 9/9 will be open, which might be a good thing IMO, and 10/7 will be at Houston.

Thanks for the reply and the info!! As for as an open date I can't see an open date the second week of the season as being a positive. I think that the coaches if they had there choice would have the OPEN date more in the middle of the season rather than the end or begining!!

Pulled this off the TX A&M site showing us visiting on 9/9 instead of 9/23. That means we start the season @LSUa&m & @TXa&m.

I guess that means 9/23 will be an open date.

Texas A&M has been moved to 9/9

In addition, FAU has been moved to a Wed for ESPN2, giving us Saturday's off before and after.

There's a lot of work to do on the schedule now. Multiple games will probably be moved.

In addition, FAU has been moved to a Wed for ESPN2, giving us Saturday's off before and after.

There's a lot of work to do on the schedule now. Multiple games will probably be moved.

Nice. Don't like weekday games, but anytime ESPN comes calling and wants to put us on NATIONAL TV, move the game. Good news Jay.
