The Packers had the game won and took the foot off the gas letting the Aints inch back in. They beat the Jaguars by 13...the Jaguars. That's harsh. Losing to the Bucs...is a symptom of being on the road. It's gets tougher to play on the road in January. That does not bode well for Arena League football which is only played indoors.

the perception is the saints can't win outdoors. they're 12-4 outside the last 3 years, w/ 1 loss occurring when they rested their starters.

also, did you know the saints' winning percentage at home under payton (66.7, at 32-16) is only 4.4 higher than % in outdoor games (22-13)?

Plus the Saints have the best road record in the league over the past 3 seasons

If tavaris wouldnt have fumbled their game away vs the 9ers, the saints would have been home this week, but it wont matter

I remember...The Saints could have taken care of their business on the field and not need the Seahawk's help...and it will matter.

Gotta love Hawk, going down with another ship. Other than the Saint/Seahawks game last year he consistently misses on his predictions. If Hawk likes the 49ers, bet the farm on the Saints.

My loyalty is unwavering...wins and losses cannot sway me. I'm picking the Aints next week...just for that last comment.

I forgot about Carolina. I'd replace St. Louis with them. Anyhow, it sounds like you're putting all your bank on the fact the Saints have to play outside. I wouldn't bet the house on it. The biggest problem the Saints had thsi year & the main reason they didn't win fifteen or sixteen games is because they had problems replacing Jonathon Goodwin. Olin Kreutz was a waste of the Siants time. He was the biggest reason the Saints aren't the number one rushing as well as recieving team in football. They would have every offensive record in football had they settled on Delapuente earlier resigned Goodwin. Now that they have their interior line take care of, they have THE MOST DOMINANT interior line in football & maybe the most dominant interior line in the history of the game. San Fran better be able to make some points bcause they're not keeping the Saints out of the end zone.

That means Alex Amith will have to overcome the blitzing that Greg Williams is going to throw at him. I have seen the Saints coming in with their younger defensive players during the last several games & this has made a huge difference in their second half play. They have blown out oponents in the second half of games in the last part of the season & they will blow out San Fran also. I think you know this but are antagonizing for funzies. You would sound much more credible if you saved your ammo for next week when you will have a valid argument. If you want people to think you have medicine, you have to use your bullets in a wiser fashion. You know as well as I do Alex Smith will be nervous as a _____ in church & the rest of the team will feed off that.

The last time the Saints played on the road they beat Minnesota by around 30 points.
