I heard a rumor that Cooke has decided not to come to UL after all. Is this true?

Not true at all...he has been on the bench with the team during home games.Originally Posted by derf
I haven't seen him. I look at the next game. Thanks for putting my mind to rest.

David Dees is about 6'4" with broad shoulders. He is a guy who can take it to the basket because of his strength. He is also a good outside shooter, better than anyone we have now. He will lead the team in scoring next season.Originally Posted by RaginEsquire06
As a Carencro fan, I have to put you in your place. Gary was hurt half of the year and they managed to finish 500 b/c of that fact. Gary was the only senior and they started a freshman and three sophomores. They were 10-2 before losing three kids to injuries and ranked in the top 10 of the state. So don't badmouth people's sons and their coaches when they busted their *ss. Gary is a good player and could have gone anywhere. The parents of Carencro players wish him the best and hope that he stays healthy.Originally Posted by T-Col
David Dees is about 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs a little over 200 pounds. In all likelihood, he will be our leading scorer next year.Originally Posted by RaginEsquire06
I am sorry if I offended you, your school, or your players in any way. That was not the intent of my post. I was merely attepting to convey my exitment at the fact that UL was getting a playmaker. I attended one of your 2 games against STM, and from what I saw, Gary was by far the biggest reason you won the game. Without him you would not have won. I was trying to explain that I feel that he is the type of player that can and does lead a team a team to victory through my post. I was not trying to insult your program, because I do understand that your players played their hearts out. I am sorry that I did not know you had 3 starters injured and that was what cost you to finish 500. And I am sorry I offended you. Please understand that was not my intent.Originally Posted by Xlettrman
The two teams actually played three times with Carencro winning by over 20, by over 10 and then STM flat out outplayed Carencro in a third game for a big STM win. Coach Broussard, being perhaps one of the finest coaches in th state played a box and one or diamond and one on LaRyan the whole time and I don't think he scored more than 12 points in each game so...technically he wasn't the reason...he would have to be the leading scorer or have like 25 rebounds to say he's the reason they won....but its all good...geaux cajuns...Originally Posted by T-Col
