A twenty year old female is dead tonight after a car accident on Moss Street and Lita Drive in Lafayette.

The accident happened just after 9:30 Saturday night. Corporal Paul Mouton with the Lafayette Police Department says two cars were traveling north on Moss Street when they collided for unknown reasons. Five people were in one of the vehicles and one person was in the other car.
