If the Cajuns can carry the defensive intensity they have had in the last two games with them on the road Thursday night, we
may finally win a true road game. Although we once again missed a few open shots, you have to give the team credit for playing hard and running the offense well in the last two games. It is obvious we run an efficient offense. It's just that we have
inconsistent shooting from the perimeter. We also missed a few layups in the first half that would have made this game a runaway from the opening tip. Once again JJ's energy helps the entire team play harder. That left handed tip he made at the
halftime buzzer was a key play. I suspect that with a successful road trip, the attendance will pick up when we play at home
again on Jan. 12 against South Alabama. Students should be back then as well so the band should also return which helps
with the atmosphere of the game.
