Did anyone watch that game yesterday. Announced attendance is coming out at 41K but that stadium couldn't have been more than 1/4 full. I'm sure the rain hurt some of the "distributed" ticket holders from showing up.

Maybe they'll invite us next year.

I hope they do not. New Orleans is a much better bowl town than Shreveport. As long as the New Orleans Bowl attracts a quality team like SDSU.

I'd rather go th the New Orleans Bowl every year......................until we're ready for the Sugar Bowl!!!!

If the Independance Bowl ever invites the Cajuns, I hope the entire athletic department, the President, and all the UL fans give them the middle finger salute.

Well I will say this about the I Bowl. I would embrace it with love, and make sure that as many Cajun Fans as possible go and support UL. Now there is only one down side tot he I Bowl, and that is we missed our goal as being Sun Belt champs and have to settle for another bowl, cause you know New Orleans wants us.

Giving someone the bird as spite would not inhance our reputation, and I want some of those big North Louisiana recruits to know what fun it is to watch a team with fans instead of tarps the that LTU uses.

Ok the NO Bowl must choose the SBC Champs 2 out of every 4 years ------sssssssoooo do they have to choose the champ next year or can they take another and use the champion designation in the 4th year?????

They would not have to take the champ next year. Last year’s pick of Troy as co-champs satisfied that criteria at least for next year.
