Once again the Lady Cajuns start the season nationally ranked by both the USA Today pollsters and by the National Fast-Pitch Coaches Association. Check this out:

So the question this year is how far they will get in post-season play. I know we've got a good team cuz i've seen them play (2nd year in a row to have season tickets). But, I dunno much about softball or any of the other top 25 teams, or the teams we'll see in postseason play.

A national ranking in any sport is not to be taken lightly, especially a sport that has expanded as much as softball has expanded in the past few years. Stephanie and Michael do a great job with a group of wonderful softball players that are as nice as they are great athletes.

I'm proud of our girls, and hope that they see great things at during the season. If you know anything about softball you know that the post season is a crapshoot. If you meet a team with one hot pitcher your team can fall faster than a brick droppnig of the top of a 10-story building.

Let's get out there and support our Lady Cajuns all season long! They will give us 100% -- they deserve the same back from us.
