From what I can assertain Seth propped last year but I beleive was able to become academically eligble this past year and will practice in the spring. I beleive when the official release of names come out, Seths name will be on there again showing that he is now eligible. I beleive the same thing happened with Lanier Coleman. When Lanier came in he was a prop, he did his one year, got eligible and was apart of this past signing class when infact he was already here before that.

I'm not positive but in my experience I think thats how its gonna pan out.

How did Blount look in workouts this past year?

Blount is definently fast, but he is a bit small, of course he's got plenty of time. I think with maybe 10 to 15 more pounds on his frame that we could have one ____ of a player. He pretty much just worked scout team this past year so you couldn't really tell how he'd do against the starters. I think with some work in the weight room, he'll be a real productive player for us.

    Say what?

He began school the Fall of 2005. Spring of 2006 is his second semester. If he practices this spring he for certain isn't not a prop.

All I know is, when he came in he was a prop, I'm not sure how long it takes for someone to be academically eligble. I know he's still here so that means he must've done decent in the Fall. I always beleived that if a player did well his first semester and did everything to get into his core classes, along with a good enough GPA, that he would be eligible to participate in spring drills, call me crazy, but thats how I thought it worked.

He signed in Feb 2005. If he didn't qualify before school started Fall 2005 then he is not on scholarship and he cannot practice. Only after he spends his first year in school and does get qualified can he be part of the program and be on scholarship. Ask Dwight.

I heard that he went through fall practice last year. That is why I thought he was redshirted.
