Looking at the past Hooters/Credeur’s Players of the Week I see a couple of names I did not know

David Lawson
Charlie Segura

does anyone know what positions they play?

also saw Brad Bustle's name, I thought he went to SLU?

Not sure about Lawson/ Segura, but I have heard that Bustle went to camp at SLU and decided it wasn't his cup of tea. I would assume he walked on before school started. (I hear he has some connections at UL)

Actually, David is from Loreauville. He walked on because he loves the game. I've known him and his family for years, they are class acts even though odds are he will never make it to the field. He's barely larger than me and he was one of my reserve linemen back in high school my senior year.

Absolutely right, Z! I know all of those guys on the team work hard, even the ones none of the fans have ever heard of. They pour as much sweat and blood into it as the Delhommes, Mitchells, Tillmans, etc. They just don't usually get a chance to shine in the spotlight. (Here's where we all start softly then loudly chanting "Rudy, Rudy, Rudy...!)
