Ole Miss refusing to sign the release being responsible for Andrus going back to Oxford back in January is something most Cajun fans firmly believe. If he goes to a 1AA school, Ole Miss may not be able to stop him.Originally Posted by Tuffguy21

When did he quit? I've searched the local paper and ole miss' website and there is nothing about it. He's still listed on the roster.
Someone stated that he left on the Ole Miss Rival's message board. It was later confirmed by one of the moderators. I'm going to dig a little and see if I can't find out about the release papers right now.Originally Posted by Crowley Cajun

Am I misunderstanding you or are you saying that the Ole Miss coach would release him to an SEC rival but not a school outside of the SEC? I would think it would be the other way around so that he wouldn't have to face him in conference games. What would be the logic behind refusing to let him go outside of the SEC?Originally Posted by snote
yes my bad typing.. he would not let him go to lsu when "last in limbo" (and called them) did say okay to cajunsOriginally Posted by Hammer58
didn't UL originally recruit him out of high school? and whats the latest on him? anyone know? also what position does he play? i thought WR, is that right? thanks.
Just heard that Andrus walked on at LSU A&M at BR. I'm guessing he'll walk on at DB, but he could also try for a WR spot. Good luck to him...Originally Posted by jamesthejeweler
