Acadiana Businesses Left with Storm Damage

On Thursday, several businesses owners were left with a huge mess to clean after strong winds ripped through Acadiana Weather experts say early morning thunderstorms produced strong winds that ranged from 40 to 60 miles per hour.
In Port Barre, power was knocked out.
Police spent the morning directing traffic.
There was other damage reported in Port Barre.
In the town of Jennings, Jennings Jewelry Store and the Army Navy centers received roof damage.
And in Lafayette, one man lost his fireworks store.
He says it's impossible to make the big bucks he earns every new year.
"I lost six figures in cost, usually we double our expenses in sales," said Mike Buford.
