Good Grief, when are we going to get rid of that embarrassment of a coach?
35 point loss at home; sheesh!
Yea he is pretty bad. He has brought us back down to being a joke in women's basketball.
Maybe UL is afraid to fire him???
Hire Gary Broadhead, at least he is a good coach and has built his resume up at McNeese. Plus he has out recruited Rogers within the state.
I think you have to look a little bigger.
I am certain that whoever we hire [and this IS Rogers last year], we will follow the same procedure that was used in hiring Marlin, Hudspeth and Badeaux. Someone who has had successful head coaching experience at the collegiate level, preferably at a program with limited resources. I don't particularly care for Broadhead, but he does fit those criteria and he does want to be here.
I am sure we would like to hire a female for the job; but we cannot afford to pay a good female coach; we can get a very good to excellent male coach for less money than we would have to pay a mediocre female.
I'm not sure Scott would consider her experience here as true 'head coaching experience', even thought she did share that title with Kelley.
I've wondered if Kelley's wife were still interested in coaching or maybe is coaching somewhere.
Doobie Plaisance!!!
Boomer, with all due respect, no Doobie. She has been less than stellar in D1.
