Shreveport paper on Wednesday said actual attendence for Indy Bowl was only 15,000. Over 41,000 ticket sold but very few attended the game. N.O. Bowl still a very large actual attendance figure compared to other bowls.

Junior QB Blaine Gautier of the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns threw for 470 yards and three TD's vs the San Diego State Aztecs in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl. Tha Ragin' Cajuns won the thrilling bowl game game, 32-30 on a last second field goal.
