Yeah, hard to say someone will just step up and fill that role. Pettis would be the closest on the roster. The kid from Minden, Jared Johnson is the closest HS recruit

    Should be fun.
And to think Broadway has one more year to sit and learn behind Gauthier...it's almost unfair.

"Hopefully," he added, "we can get that nailed down as soon as we get back to campus after the bowl game."
Got this info from a really good source. HUD will definitely be here next year. Also, the only way he leaves is for an SEC school (but we already knew this one).

I disagree with Pettis---- but with Maxwell's vertical jump ---I think that he would be the heir apparent for the "FADE in the ZONE" route!!!

When the ball went through, I hugged every person I could find then raised my son as high as I could while he screamed like a madman. Same thing I did at the NFC Championship game in 09 minus my son. I still don't know who that old lady was.

I watched the ball sail through the goalposts as well from the far corner of the end zone, and knew it had gone through, but paused for what seemed like five seconds (but was only about a half-second) before the referees raised their hands to signal it good. I took a split second to look for flags and didn't see any. Then, like all the other Cajun fans, started jumping up and down, hugging my family. After that, I almost collapsed from exhaustion with all the emotions going through my mind. Someone behind me reached down and tapped my shoulders, and asked me if I was okay, because I was so visibly upset after SDSU scored the go-ahead touchdown. My emotions went from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs in the matter of those 35 seconds (with NO timeouts) that we moved into field goal position from our own 18(?) to our 45 then the 40 with the penalty.

The comeback against ULM kept me from giving up hope, but I couldn't help but feel like we were being robbed of our win by some questionable calls. I realized how badly I wanted the Cajuns to win, and felt like our destiny was being pulled out from beneath us. Then it happened. And looking back now, it made the win oh so much sweeter. It truly was a storybook ending for our long-suffering team and fanbase.

Yeah... Had it been Southern Miss it may have been a sellout.

I remember a briiliant neckster making the comment that we would not travel well to the Independence Bowl. They did a bang up job for the Poinsetta huh? They are supporting thier team in Ruston tomorrow, with tailgating in RUSTON. Dykes' agent is busy right now....for that very reason...and in touch with Dooley's movers in case a fast exit is needed.

Great win, again!

(Also, here's to hoping Bama's kickers aren't as good as yours!)
Thank you for your kind words.

You will meet with some opposition on this board as there are quite a few tiger fans that only come on to cause problems; but, it is nice of you to come on with some words of encouragement.

    Good luck in your game.
