i think all of the U.S. of A. fell in love with the Cajun Receivers Saturday. They were lights out all night, catch after catch after catch.

Sue, I want to add my thanks to you and Stu and all your children, most especially to Kyle, for your perseverance and devotion to our Ragin Cajun family. You are all family to us now, and have been for the last 5 years. There are no honorary Cajuns; you either are or you aren't. All of you ARE, and always will be.

I cant tell you how incredible that experience was. Thank you for embracing him and sharing this great university and your dedication to the football players. So many of you came up to both my husband and I and thanked us for our son, it was you that gave us the gift. He will never forget this experience.

As far as the game goes.....wow.

They were truly AMAZING. I turned to my buddy in the dome and i said, this is like watching a Saints game. And i only mean that from the sense that the Cajuns looked like legit NFL WRs for the greatest offense in the NFL.

No doubt. If he had a little more room and time on the 3rd and goal catch, I think he could've gotten the ball over.

TD or not, Brad's still one of my all time favorites because of what he's gone through and done for this team. Proud of him for his career at UL.

Smashed the back window parking the mini-van at the hotel.

Some drunk idiot spilled a whole cup of beer on me in the first half.

But, for some reason, at around midnight, I couldn't care less about any of that.

He even was decked out in UL attire all weekend and watched the replay on espnu last night! As much as it hurts me to say this I will actually try to return the favor and pull for them against TCU Wednesday. It would be pretty cool for the state of LA to go 3-0 in bowl games. Saturday night is a event that I will never forget. It's now time to hold on to the rope even tighter and to push for our program to go where it's never gone before. I have already starting planning the trips to Gainsville, and Stillwater.
First, let me say its great that a number of people throughout the state enjoyed the UL win and congratulated us after the game. That is the class thing for any other school's fans to do and acknowledge the Cajuns accomplishment. Having said that, there are more then a few people that were at least honest and admitted they did not want us to win the game because what it means for their program in the larger picture. I can assure you, I will not be pulling for Louisiana Tech because their success only hurts our program in this state. Keep in mind, I have three family members with Louisiana Tech degrees, but on the college football landscape there is a much larger picture. Its great to all get along and be friends, but there is a larger picture. As for LSU, in the long run it is much better for our program that they are winning and can recruit on a national level. I'm glad you guys enjoyed the game together.

Just because Kyle graduated and his playing days are over, it doesn't mean you and Stu can't keep coming to some games and make a few guest appearances with the Krewe de Chew! I think y'all need to bring Kyle over for some tailgating so he can experience doing "da Roosta". His Cajun career will then be totally fulfilled!!! LOL!!!

Nick Fontenot couldn't meet up with us until after his postgame obligations, that's why he's absent.
