From my rounding off number days in grammar school------Attendance was 45K-----BTW the kick would have been good even with the curve that the ball was taking as the arc route would have been inside the goal posts and the distance was there for 5 extra yards!!! We are always 17K or above in enrollment and have a projected growth of over 20K students---Acadiana has over 1 million people and we are the largest Catholic University in America!!!

Stopped by the Walgreens on my end of town last night, and they had two smalls and a medium championship shirt. Said had sold all they had over two days, but expected an additional delivery.

Got mine last night at Walgreens in Youngsville by Rousse's. Still had some in all sizes.

I noticed the hookem horns as well, especially since I'm having the front page framed, but then again I could care less if he had his middle finger in his nose, the caption reads "New Orleans Bowl Champions"!! I've dreamed of this for as long as I care to mention!! Geaux Cajuns!

With my really bad hearing --I wondered how loud the stadium really was---Well on the replay Sunday it was also loud---This had to make an impression on the TV watching audience!!!!

I was in the first row in the left corner of the alcove around the goalpost. The ball actually looked like it was going to be wide left at first, but then hooked in a bit. It was coming right at me!

Definitely would have been good from 55, maybe even 60. The ball was high enough to make it over when it hit the tarp behind the post.

The penalty might have given them the extra adrenaline to pull it off, though and no 2 kicks are the same.

AWESOME! I watched it from the Cajuns end zone Saturday, on tv with my parents Sunday, and on my computer last night!

Did anyone else see coach Hud chewing out the refs after a bad call. I saw it during the game and then when I watched the replay on tv I could see that one of the other coaches had to pull him away from the ref. I love that intensity in our coaches
