Brad Mcguire is a man! He, along with ALL of the seniors this season, really showed GREAT team leadership. I truly hope the legacy they leave will be a very long-lasting one. I know they will live forever in our collective memories. Best wishes to these fine men as they move on with their lives. Hope to see all of them back at Cajun Field in the future.

  5. Default Lawson a believer after Cajun bowl win

After completing 24-of-40 passes for 470 yards and three touchdowns, Cajuns quarterback Blaine Gautier was named MVP of the New Orleans Bowl. But it just as easily could have been Lawson, who caught nine of those passes from Gautier for a bowl ...

It may be common on message boards but it is not common in newspapers by alleged professional journalists, _______. A quote is just that a quote, an exact recitation of the words spoken by an individual. If a writer is going to change what a person says even if it is the addition of a single letter he should either word the statement differently and not use quotes or there are acceptable ways such as including the extra L in parenthesis to indicate it was not said by the person but added by the writer.

Hey Zeebart and Hammer - Here you go .... From last baseball season when we beat LSU ... I sure do take a lot of crap here for speaking the truth.

ORIGINAL QUOTE: "We had a good practice yesterday, and we were ready for this game," said LSU coach Paul Mainieri, "but ULL just completely outplayed us. They strung together the hits they needed in that big fifth inning, and our hitting was just too sporadic. Give credit to ULL - they have a very good club and they played very well tonight."

EDITED QUOTE FROM UL TODAY: "We had a good practice yesterday, and we were ready for this game," said LSU coach Paul Mainieri, "but UL just completely outplayed us. They strung together the hits they needed in that big fifth inning, and our hitting was just too sporadic. Give credit to UL - they have a very good club and they played very well tonight."
