LSU lost me forever with the Name change-----Tech lost me forever with the INDEPENDENCE BOWL------Monroe lost me with the Name deal and trying to take the Louisiana name-----McNeese for trying to do everything possible behind our backs to hurt us (personal and too long of a story)-----Tulane for screwing us out of the Metro ( now CUSA) selection-------Don't fall for the bull ____--they hate us and will do anything that hurts us----Same to you _______s, but NOW we have some folks at the controls who know how to steer the program!!!! All the planets are aligning in Acadiana and around the state of Louisiana!!!!
Wonder how deep in the backfield he was or in just a short slot???
And i got bashed because i wanted UL fans to cheer for both schools....
LSU fans actually pulled for UL to win.
Some of you guys are hypocrites.
UL's story was put in the back of the TP on Sunday probably because they weren't sure they'd get it in time.
Peoples caught the pass before that for a first down in-bounds. Next play was a clock spike. Play after that was Lawson for 4 yards out of bounds. Boom, I think he came from the slot but I'm not sure. DB probably gave him plenty of cushion since he had been scorching them all night.
Let me address your comments, although I’m not one of those fans that post about hating LSU on a daily basis on this web site. And, I think too much time is spent on bashing LSU on this board; at least several threads a week. First off, we live in a unique area of the state with a large number of fans that have associations with both universities. This is not the norm in many other areas and certainly not the norm outside of the state of Louisiana. Because of this, there are a number of people that have dual loyalties; thus the house divided. Now for those people, (you) it’s simply not comprehendible how UL fans cannot support LSU, when it is the norm within your family and circle of friends. Your choice to support both programs is not a problem with me or most reasonable Cajun fans; it’s the arrogance in which you attempt to scold Cajuns fans that do not.
We live in a free society were people should be able to coexist, but where do you and others get off lecturing people about which programs they should support or shouldn’t support? I certainly don’t run around to LSU boards or fans lecturing them on why they should support both programs. Why would people like you even have that expectation? And please spare me about LSU fans supporting UL by large numbers, which is simply nonsense. That may be the norm in your family and circle of friends, but it certainly isn’t the norm around this state or outside of this state. You have the right to support which programs you want, but because you support both it does not give you the right to demand that others do it as well. As I’ve stated, we live in a very unique area and because of that supporting both programs is the norm in many circles. Outside of this area and the state of Louisiana, most of the people that support one program or the other are the norm.
