a very good point here. things have to "go right" for the long term stay as i think benson can break his lease with state after next year if he so chooses..

Think you are right. Benson can leave after next season without penalty. And, you know he wants to leave; so hopefully the corporate sponsors and fans will show up. If not, I really think he will bolt.

Could be. I thought that was the case for this year; force majure (or whatever they call it) not being used. Perhaps it is 2008 they can leave without penalty; but they "may" still have the option of using the force majure clause following 2006. Remember, they and the state agreed to extend the deadline for implementing that clause.
