  1. Default Nixon stirs the drink

Then, once the memorable campaign is over, he has his eye on playing college football. The UL Ragin' Cajuns have expressed interest, and his 3.5 grade point average and high ACT score serve to amplify recruiters' attention. "My education comes ...

He looks like a good prospect, but I think that we already have the quarterback position locked up for a while.

I feel pretty confident in saying that if we offer Nixon, it won't be at QB. I think they like him more at other positions rather than there where we have a lot of depth. I'd love to see him at WR or safety

No doubt. I'm glad to see the Cajuns gearing up a high-powered offense. Our O line is going to be our achilles heel if we don't get some depth, however.

At 6'2", 225, that would be huge for either of those positions. If he has 4.3-4.5 speed, that's even HUGER.

I'd say if he wants to be recruited as a QB, let's do it and see where the competition leads. If he is ok with being recruited at whatever position, that's cool too! There are several good-looking prospects on that CroBear team that I would love to see wearing Vermilion & White in the near future. Good luck in the Championship game tonight, guys! Hope y'all bring the trophy back home!

Likely to see him at LB or SS.

He doesn't have that kind of speed. He is more of a 4.7 kid, but UL has offered him as an athlete with the chance of playing LBer on defense. He is not fast enough to play RB, WR or Safety.
