What attracts you to sports
No doubt it is the ora that is associated with sports and their programs. Just the pure love of sports is why I go. Having played sports all my life growing up and seeing failure, triumph, injuries, come backs, blood, sweat, and tears involved with competition, is part of the attraction for me. Knowing the strategies of the game at hand is part for me. Sitting there as a FAN allows you to get inside the game, thinking about what is going on inside the heads of all involved, coaches, players and fans. Being able to watch the young people grow as individuals both in the sport and off the field/court is so great. Watching the programs develope and grow talent and facility wise is so much fun with me, especially if I am lucky enough to be able to get personally involved.Originally Posted by Turbine

Being associated with a winner is always a feather in the hat.
Defeating the opponent is too risky to spend money as being the sole reason for attending a game.
As for the ebb & flow of the game, there is some intrigue in this aspect.
But it is the competition, the great reception, the nice block, the bounce pass and drive to the basket, the coaching, the pole vaulter clearing the bar, the sprinter crossing the tape with maximum effort-for a first or sixth place, the 6-4-3 double play, a tag at home, the SWOOSH of the net, Cajuns, Rams Lions, Tigers, Aggies, Tide, Officials and the aura of family and friends is what brings my family and me to sporting events.
Just be there.
